TCMT is having its sister concern in Trident Marine Services(TMS) ISO Certified which exclusively looks after the placement of ex-trainees of TCMT. Trident Marine Services is having its offices in Kolkata & Mumbai. TMS is under empanelment for supply of skilled manpower to different shipping companies including The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd. TMS will arrange Campus / Off Campus interviews by the Indian / Foreign Shipping Companies for its successful candidates. 

Arrangement of a Campus/Off Campus Interview is dependent on following factors:

• Academic Records 
• Candidate’s overall performance during Pre-sea training
• Candidate’s command over English language
• Appearance and attitude of the Candidate
• Meeting companies' specific requirements

As per the existing  D.G. Shiping, Govt. of India norms, the Institute does not extend any guarantee for placement, however, the majority of Ex-TCMT candidates have been placed in reputed shipping companies through the Placement Cell of TCMT. The Institute also prepares its candidates through exclusive training and guidance  to undertake the stiff competition towards interviews / selection criteria of different shipping companies.
